I've been very fortunate throughout my career to always look forward to going to work on Mondays. Whether it was because of the people I worked with, the culture at my job, or the challenging and changing nature of my work, it made every week genuinely exciting. When I started Tabulo, I wanted to re-create that environment here. I didnt just want to be successful, I wanted to have fun doing it.
As such, you'll find a place where you can work on different and challenging projects every month, instead of repetitive work. A place where you can let your creativity loose (more on this below) and grow as a woodworker. A place where you can grow and test yourself. A place where your work mates are actually your friends.
Spend 10% (4 hrs) of every week working on projects that you want to work on. You can use all of the shop's tools, and even some of our wood. Let your creative juices fly!
Why do I do this? Because I know that there's no better way to re-charge your circuits than to work on a project you genuinely love. As a woodworker, the worst thing that you can do is stifle that.
Once you're past the probationary period, you have flexibility to adjust your hours to suit your schedule (in discussion with your manager, of course). Want to take Wednesdays off every week and make it up on other days? Well its possible here.
